Kennedy (Rose Fitzgerald) Greenway is dedicated.

Designed by SMWM/The Cecil Group and Halvorson Associates, the 1.5 mile-linear park is built atop the now depressed highway that had formerly been named the John F. Fitzgerald Expressway for Kennedy’s father. U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy had presided over the “unveiling” of the park on November 5, 2007.
